After spending a lot of time and effort sending samples they did not come up with a solution, until I figured out the problem on my own. Unresolved Photoshop CS6 Issue: I dealt with Topaz Tech support on a problem that some PNG files (w transparent regions) refused to work in GigaPixel Ai. This is the most expensive program in the Topaz stable, so the current price is unheard of. It can even give you slow motion that is far superior to what your ordinary video editor tries to do. There are a few interface improvements I'm hoping to see, but this programs delivers on it's promise. In brief, It works just like GigaPixelAi, and processes each individual frame (which is just a still photo) and then it puts each processed frame back into video format. VideoEnhanceAi - This software will Upscale, Denoise, and Sharpen your videos. The newer updates, will work well with Raw images, and the prior color issues I believe have now been solved. There's a good chance that you will achieve just as good results with your own photos.ĭeNoiseAi - I don't have that much to say here. This is a case where the Topaz demos themselves are simply selected rare best cases. Sharpen Ai, on the other hand cleared up and sharpened all except the very worst ones. The demos looked fantastic, but with my photos their performance was worthless. I have some old photos that I took with a very early digital camera without adequate lighting and they are pretty awful, so I was terribly excited when Photoshop came out with their Camera Shake repair, quite a number of years ago. SharpenAi - Sharpens well, but what I find most amazing is the great job it does on camera shake. GigaPixel Ai is the one program that delivers the most of all the Ai programs, since it does Noise Reduction and Sharpening, on it's own while doing it's primary job of Upscaling. Of course, you will get free updates for a year from the time of your purchase. Hence if you buy at the super bargain price and have no intention to update, and can't afford the update price, you are likely to remain pretty happy. If I had not seen the gradual improvement, I would be far more impressed than I already am. The current versions perform amazingly well. Some changes in updates produce some minor complaints, some of which are reasonable, while others are less so. Nevertheless, there, even today, some inconsistencies in the User Interface between the various programs which should not exist. However, and this is a criticism, some of the official released updates had some problems, but they were quickly fixed, with updates. Just how important is it to get continual UPDATES? I paid my $99 upgrade cost because I was sure that worthwhile improvements were coming, and they did. You simply will not get any free updates to your software -that is all. The Topaz AI software that you buy, is yours to use as long as you want (or the Operating System makes it incompatible). Keep in mind that Topaz AI programs are not sold as a subscription. Lot's of people complained about this change, but most reasonable people understood that without reasonable profit, the business could no longer go on. So, the existing upgrade deal is that for $99.99 they will renew the update period for all of your existing Topaz AI Software for another year. Topaz originally suggested/implied and for a while implemented free upgrades for a couple of years, but realized it could not afford to do that forever. Please remember that you can download a trial version of each of these programs so you can test them on your system. (I remember these selling for $70 each during special sales)Īnyone working w video will appreciate this program as well (regular price $300, best sale was $200 Plus - don't remember the exact value) The Everything Bundle at $99.99 includes: (currently available until November 29, 2021).īesides calling your attention to a Bargain, this is also a reasonably objective review, complete with some criticisms. First of all I don't work for Topaz, and although in the past I had a referral deal that saved money for the buyer and got me $10, it does not apply for the Black Friday pricing.
